Bean counters Ball
The annual Bean Counters Ball has announced it will be returning for its 10th anniversary after being postponed in 2020.
Newcastle’s business and accounting community have come together to enhance education pathways for young people in the region at the annual Bean Counters Ball, raising over $30,000 at the 2021 event.
Half the funds raised at the Bean Counters Ball will go to Samaritans Student Accommodation, helping people like Natalie.
Semester One 2017, 24 students were presented the Bean Counters Pathway Scholarship and Bean Counters ADA Scholarship.
The Bean Counters Ball is an important reminder that competing organisations can put their differences aside to help those in need.
In 2016 the Ball raised $22,500, supporting young people currently studying through the two local charitable organisations.
2010 to 2016, Bean Counters Ball raised over $100,000, establishing the Bean Counters Pathway and Associate Degree of Accounting Scholarships.
